O Projeto Compreensivo da Travessia de Riobaldo em Grande Sertão: Veredas1

Resumo

Este trabalho pretende apresentar algumas reflexões sobre a obra Grande Sertão: Veredas, procurando demonstrar a viabilidade de um pacto de leitura. Acreditamos na hipótese de que a obra inteira pode ser lida como um exercício de reflexão que põe em relevo o tema da temporalidade, tal como é compreendida pela ontologia fundamental de Martin Heidegger. Na verdade, esta etapa de nossa investigação se propõe apenas a estabelecer os limites e as possibilidades para o desenvolvimento desta tese, que poderá ser formulada da seguinte forma: a obra Grande Sertão: Veredas demonstra poeticamente o tema da temporalidade existencial, o que torna visível a constituição fundamental do homem, estruturado inicialmente a partir da articulação de uma compreensão existencial de liberdade, ação e tempo. Tais temas e questionamentos serão abordados na obra pelo narrador Riobaldo segundo um modo poético de pensar, de modo tão radical quanto o pensamento propriamente filosófico. 

ABSTRACT
This paper aims at presenting some reflections on the work The Devil to Pay in the Backlands, seeking to demonstrate the possibility of a  reading pact. We believe in the hypothesis that the entire work can be read as a reflection that highlights the theme of temporality, as understood by the fundamental ontology of Martin Heidegger. In fact, this stage of our research aims only to establish the limits and  possibilities for the development of this thesis, which may be formulated as follows: the work The Devil to Pay in the Backlands shows the theme of existential temporality for a poetic way, making visible the fundamental constitution of man, initially structured from the articulation of an existential understanding of freedom, action and time. These themes and issues will be discussed in the work by Riobaldo narrator according  to a poetic way of thinking so radically as the philosophical thought.
